Dear Editor, I am a resident of Continental Park, Plantation Peter’s Hall on the East Bank of Demerara, who would like to take this opportunity on behalf of all the residents of the area to vent through the letters column of your newspaper, the complete disgust and frustration of everyone residing there as it relates to the unlawful grazing of cattle in the neighbourhood.

Hamley Case, has succeeded in getting the slave-era ‘Demerara Bell’ back to Guyana from Cambridge University after a lunchtime tete-a-tete with the Master of St Catharine’s College, Professor Sir Mark Welland, two weeks ago The bell came from plantation Anna Catherina, West Bank Demerara.

Dear Editor, A writer, in a recent letter to the editor, asserted that “oil companies pay royalty on the petroleum produced” and used that assertion to juxtapose a lament that Guyana’s royalty will instead be paid on “petroleum produced and sold.”

Dear Editor, Are votes during Guyana’s general elections in 2019 as golden as I think they are or should be?
