Dear Editor, A meeting between residents of a certain section of Enmore and a GPL Contractor together with Representatives from the IDB is scheduled for today to advise residents about the installation of Smart-meters in Enmore.

Dear Editor, In a Stabroek News letter dated September 2, 2017 and captioned `Suppression of news’  – I referred to the media’s inclination to neglect issues that specifically speak to the discontents as well as the aspirations of African Guyanese.  

Dear Editor, Permit me a few lines in your newspaper to highlight a most troubling development which must be called out for what it is, with the hope that  what must be a blind spot is corrected.

Dear Editor, The tone of the letter bearing the caption `Decisions being made at NIS are not anchored in the concept of social security’ reflects the malicious intent of its author. 

Dear Editor, I refer to your article `Auditors absent from GFF congress’ carried in the Sunday Stabroek dated 25 August 2019.

Dear Editor, There seems to be a perpetual disconnect between our farmers and fishermen, and successive governments, and it is certainly not the farmers’ and fishermen’s fault in my humble opinion.

Dear Editor,  In Saturday’s edition of the Stabroek News, I observed an article that deeply troubles me to my core: `AG appeals CJ’s ruling on existing registrants’.

Dear Editor, The Guyana Elections Commission continues to run daily and nightly advertisements calling on members to register in its current House-to-House Registration exercise, “Even if they were previously registered.”

Dear Editor, I refer to two election related issues carried in the Sunday edition (SN August 25).

Dear Editor,  GECOM Chairman, Claudette Singh SC is reportedly seeking a compromise position with regards to the date for General and Regional Elections; the irony of this cannot be lost on anyone who has knowledge of Guyana’s electoral history, for it is the very same Claudette Singh (justice retired) who vitiated an entire election because of a ‘compromise’ made between the PPP and the PNC.

Dear Editor,  Another day,  another meeting,  another stalemate, another court filing. 

Dear Editor,   Leaving Georgetown for overland travel to the Pomeroon, one is faced with traffic requirements that boggle the mind.
