Dear Editor, Please allow me to highlight an unsavoury habit that is being practised by a few foreign missions in Guyana, namely, the sponsorship of events such as American Independence Day and Canada Day celebrations by local entities.

Dear Editor, The Guyana Constitution, familiarly known as the Burnham Constitution, is flawed.

Dear Editor, The letter from Harry Hergash captioned ‘New GuySuCo launch more of a public relations exercise than an explication of the future of the corporation’ (SN, July 6) was spot-on on in exposing the sugar company’s attempt at a publicity stunt in rebranding it the ‘New GuySuCo’.
