MOSCOW,  (Reuters) – Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce completed a remarkable sprint double today as she added the 200 metres world championship gold to the 100 she won earlier in the week.

Warriors in dramatic win over Tallawahs

KINGSTON, Jamaica,  CMC– Christopher Barnwell kept his nerve conceding just four runs and picking up two wickets in the final over of the match as Guyana Amazon Warriors pulled off a tense five run victory over Jamaica Tallawahs, in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) at Sabina Park here yesterday.

Guyana squash teams sweep aside competition

Guyana swept Jamaica 5-0 in their female team playoffs and the men drubbed Barbados 4-1 as action in the Digicel 2013 Senior Caribbean Squash Championships continued at the Georgetown Club Squash Courts yesterday.

Clarkston bags gold in U11 singles

Neaveah Clarkston won Guyana’s only gold medal of the individual singles competition as the eighth annual Pre-Cadet and Cadet championships concluded at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall last night.
