Boy, ten, killed in road accident

A ten-year-old boy was killed after he was struck by a minibus on the Limlair Public Road, at Corentyne.

According to the police, Brian Scott was riding a bicycle east along the southern side of the road when he swerved into the path of a minibus, BGG 3306, which was proceeding east on the northern side of the road. Scott was picked up in an unconscious condition and taken to the Port Mourant Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The police are still investigating the accident.
