Hospitality course on at Pegasus

Le Meridien Pegasus Hotel is launching a hospitality training programme for members of the Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG) today.

In a press release THAG said the sessions will be conducted by a number of the hotel’s executives and will be held on the fourth Thursday of every month. The first session will be two hours long and will focus on hospitality in general. It is titled ‘WOW the Guest’ and entails guest service in general, ownership of what you do as an employee in the service sector and cultural diversity in the hospitality sector. It will conclude with a roundtable discussion. The training will be free of cost.

The programme will be ongoing and will be provided through the courtesy of the hotel’s Managing Director Bert Plas, who is also an executive member of THAG.
