Dear Editor,

Guyanese need to stop seeing the glass either half full or half empty, and start thinking how we can best fill up the rest of the glass. How many of the things complained about are unique to Guyana?  How much is really caused by inadequate human and financial capital even with good management? The challenge is how to provide for our basic needs and better development. If we prioritize, placing drainage, crime and jobs first as being critical, this will mean less or no money left for the public service and social needs. Who will accept priorities, however critical, if it means less for them?  While waiting for a ‘political’ saviour, what do we do in the meantime? Reasoned comments welcome.  Just asking, please do not attack the messenger.
