Action continues tomorrow in the Berbice Football Association (BFA) Coca Cola Senior League as the No.5 playfield and Blairmont No.3 Settlement ground come alive with two double headers that kick off simultaneously.

Real Union FC will tackle Scottsburg United in what is expected to be a thrilling encounter at 2pm at the No.5 playfield then Monedderlust FC will clash with Strike Force United in the feature match of the double header at 4pm.

Meanwhile, Rosignol United and Barzilla take on Mahaicony United and New Amsterdam United at 2pm and 4pm respectively at the other venue.

Last Saturday Cougars and Monnedderlust recorded comfortable victories over Real Union and Mahaicony United in matches that ended 6 – 1 and 3 – 1.

Cougars’ goals were scored by Kevin Kirton (15th), Alvin Reynolds (20th), Winston Benjamin (31st and 65th), Horace Roache (46th) and Ricardo Charles (69th) while Real Union’s consolation goal was scored by K. Grant in the 50th minute.

In the feature match, the homesters, Monedderlust, were tied 1 – 1 with Mahaicony United at the conclusion of the first half that had Monedderlust’s Henry Watts, who went on to record a double, scoring as early as the seventh minute while Mahaicony’s Elias Ross equalized in the 23rd  minute.

Monedderlust turned up the heat when the game  resumed  and were  rewarded two minutes into the second half from a Kenson Lindey strike while Watts completed his double in the 55th minute.
