The Cavaliers Sports and Tour Club (CSTC) have planned a number of races to end its race walk season for 2009.

On October 24 a 10K Juniors Race Walk will be staged at Soesdyke and on October 25 the Rudolph Mitchell Century Race Walk dedicated to the champion Linden race walker will take place at Amelia’s Ward junction in Linden and end at Bayroc Recreational Centre in Wisroc.

In the month of November the club in association with overseas based Guyanese Winston Felix will stage the East Berbice/Corentyne Tourism Awareness Month race Walk commencing at 06:30hrs at Main Road and Philadelphia Street, New Amsterdam and ending at Rosehall Community Centre in Canje.

The final race for 2009 is the ‘Last-Lap’ Race Walk which will on December 13 at the Supply Primary School and proceed to Soesdyke Methodist Church for the finish.
