Armed bandits on Monday night held up the driver of a water delivery truck at gunpoint and robbed him of a quantity of cash.
Crime Chief Seelall Persaud said yesterday that Dwayne Abrams, of Clear Waters, was collecting bottles at Hunter Street, Albouystown around 7:50pm, when two men approached him.
Persaud said that one of the men brandished a gun and shortly after $48,000 was taken. The bandits made good their escape and up to press time were still on the run.
