The Score Is Even wins feature event

The Score Is Even on Sunday won the feature event at the Bush Lot Turf Club race meet.

Competing in the 1500m event, The Score Is Even, of the Simply Royal Racing Stable, won from Work Force with Majestic placing third.
The win was worth one million dollars donated by Banks DIH Limited and the Jumbo Jet trophy.

Nine horses took part in the feature event.

In the three-year-old race for Guyana and West Indies bred horses over 1200m, Settle in Seattle of the Shariff Stable, ridden by Jamaican Brian Blake, won the $500,000 first prize and trophy with Rosetta, Rock Sonna, Serenity and Feels Like Gold occupying the other top places.

The Score Is Even is surrounded by jubilant supporters at the presentation ceremony of the feature C class event. 
 

The Shariff Stable claimed another win when Swing Easy scored an easy victory in the E class race over 1200m.

The win netted the winning horse $450,000 with Top Of The Line, Appealing Harvest and Work Force occupying the next three places.

Princess Alisha of the Jumbo Jet Stables won the two-year-old 1000m event for Guyana and West Indies-bred horses.

The win netted the princess $400,000 and a trophy while It’s My Turn and Amelia’s Joy were second and third respectively.

Captain Crook with Paul Delph aboard and Top Of The Line gave the Jumbo Jet Stable a one, two finish in the G and Lower race over 1000m taking away the $300,000 first prize in the process.

Stormy Lass and Sleeping In Town, took the next two places while She’s So Special, of the Jumbo Jet Stable won $200,000 and a trophy for placing first in the two-year-old event for Guyana and West Indies bred horses.

Second place went to Silent Night with Party Time and Royal Passion, third and fourth respectively.

The H and Lower 1400m event was won by Dream Girl of the Singh Stable. The win was worth $200,000 and a trophy from The Gump and Pixie Fire while Face The Heat of the Davenand Stable was first in the J class event ahead of Mr. Cool, Hard Running’s and Romeo.

The win was worth $100,000. The K&L class event with a prize of $80,000 was won by Windy Killer.

The top stable was Jumbo Jet with the Shariff Stable placing second.
Over 80 horses took part in the $7M Horse race meet.
