Noble House Seafoods second division competition continues with three matches

The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) Noble House Seafood second division two-day competition continues today with two matches in Zone A and one key Zone B fixture.

In Zone A the Police Sports Club will look to gain maximum points from  Ace Warriors at the Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) ground while Transport Sports Club face a confident Third Class outfit at the  Gandhi Youth Organisation ground. Third Class has already beaten last year’s champions GNIC outright in their own backyard and will be confident of another upset.

In the lone Zone B fixture Malteenoes Sports Club will look to move
themselves up from the cellar position when they play the University of Guyana at Turkeyen. The University team has remained competitive at this level and can be expected to provide a tough challenge.

In the points standings to date: GNIC leads Zone A with 41 points with Third Class second on 29, Everest, 27 and Vikings on 4.
In Zone B GCC leads with 46 points followed by DCC on 37, MYO with 27, UG, 17 and MSC at the bottom of the table with 16 points.
