The family of a 14-year-old girl, who has been missing since Tuesday, is pleading for her to return home.
Donnette Hope of Castello Housing Scheme left for school on Tuesday and has not been seen or heard of since, her parents said. The child was seen leaving after school was dismissed.
Her stepmother Collette Hope said that when they did not see her return home from school around 4.15 pm on Tuesday, they became worried and began to look for her. Hope said they made checks with her friends, who told them that she had telephoned a male to pick her up from school from a friend’s phone. They said the young man went and collected her from school in the afternoon. The teenager has not been seen since and her parents do not know where she is or with whom.
A missing person’s report was made to the police and her parents are begging her to return home. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of the teen is asked to make contact with the nearest police station or her parents on telephone numbers 689-1906 or 674-5994.
