Taljit was last seen driving his Toyota Raum, PNN 8315, on the night of Sunday, December 23.
Taljit’s vehicle was found on December 28 in a densely-forested area some distance away from a resort on the Linden/Soesdyke highway. The last call made from the man’s phone had been traced to the highway, where searches had been done since he went missing.

Police had stated that a number of articles, including a CD player, what appeared to be a GPS device and documents, were missing from the vehicle. Investigators, however, were unable to find fingerprints on the vehicle.
