The Upper Corentyne Cricket Association (UCCA) in collaboration with the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) recently threw their weight behind the 2013 Berbice player-of-the-year award for the Under-15/17 levels by sponsoring respective trophies for the events.
At a simple presentation ceremony held last Sunday, Vicky Bharosay, treasurer of the UCCA, handed over the two trophies to BCB Vice-President Hubern Evans as they prepare to honor the outstanding work done by the young cricketers of the ancient county.
The award ceremony will be held today at the St Francis Building, Rose Hall Town.
