Dear Editor,
There is a large hole on the Montrose Railway Embankment Road about twenty yards from the Montrose Bridge going west. Many cars had their wheels broken off while others had their tyres blown out. The damage mostly takes place during the night; the hole is not only big but it is also deep.
I don’t know who the people who should attend to it are, so could you inform the people at that ministry for me.
Is there not a system in place where roads should be checked periodically, let us say every three months or so? Can the owners of such vehicles take legal action against the ministry concerned and recover damages for such negligence?
I would be grateful if you could inform the ministry concerned so that corrective action could be taken to cover the hole.
