I would like to congratulate acting Chancellor Yonette Cummings-Edwards and Chief Justice (acting) Roxane George on their recent promotions.
Indeed, their ascension is a testimony to the fact that women have broken the proverbial glass ceiling in a male dominated profession. These promotions have proven that intelligence, skill and dedication are the guiding principles. This is a remarkable historic moment that would forever be fixed in the minds of young women, and serves as an inspiration to many to push against limitations.
May both of them continue to serve with distinction as they uphold the rule of law and protect the rights of citizens.
