‘She Stush’


Budding local designer Carlos `Lucky B’ Williams will on December 11, officially launch his `She Stush’ clothing line, which is his fifth collection since he emerged onto the local scene in 2008.

The stage of the National Cultural Centre will see the unfolding of comedic performances tonight through which actors and actresses will portray the sacrifices of the Indians in colonial times as written in three plays by Guyanese award-wining playwright Sheik Sadeek.

Food and drink festival slated for month end

A big food and beverage festival is planned for November 27 and according to the organizer, Global Friendships Foundation, the festival will give Guyanese an opportunity to sample some of the best cuisine and beverages from Guyana and neighbouring countries.
