Dear Editor,
The report that police have detained an 78 year old man for living with a 13 year old girl is certainly welcome news in the battle against “sexual abuse” of our children.
Good job neighbours. Good job Probation and Welfare Department. Good job Police.
These adult males who prey upon our children do not have any sense of morality nor do they seem to have any respect for our people or the laws and the values of our society.
Do not listen to their false defence of “love” or the “girl consented to it”. We are talking about our innocent children who will be corrupted, ravaged and damaged for life.
I say: those who commit rape on our children should be hunted down and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. In so doing we will put ” a hell of a scare” into those who are tempted to do the same.
Essequibians, you have done well. Others should follow their lead.
