The Guyana Squash Association (GSA) commenced their Bounty Farm Mashramani handicap tournament Tuesday night with interesting matches being played.
In the open category Keisha Jeffrey (+12) played against Damian Fernandes (+4) and defeated him 15/6 and 15/8. Jerozeno Bell (-15) beat Oliver Kean (0) with 17/14 and 15/19, Alex Arjune (-10) took on Allan Downes +12 and lost 1/15 -2 and 15/3.
Meanwhile, Deje Dias (+8) lost to Alex Gouveia (+6) 10/15, 17/18 and 15/12. Robert Fernandes (-25) played Shane Samuels (+10) with Samuels defeating Fernandes 1/15 -13, 14/15 and 15/11.
And in the last two matches of the night Kristian Jeffrey (-30) and Julian Chin (-25) defeated Joshua Abdool (+8) and Randy Hope (+10) respectively.
In the Category A division Mary Fung-A-Fat (+6) defeated Victoria Cummings (+12) and Nicholas Narain (-2) beat Ashley De Groot (+12).
The tournament will continue until Sunday when trophies and prizes will be up for grabs.
