Jagdeo urges traffic ranks to pay heed to `little transgressions’

President Bharrat Jagdeo recently called on traffic ranks to pay attention to what he termed “little transgressions” as he spoke about having to intervene in the operation of a car park since it was at a critical junction.

Speaking at the recently-concluded annual police officers conference, President Jagdeo appeared to be making reference to the car park on the parapet outside the Celina Atlantic Resort, saying that its operation at a critical junction should have been looked into by the police force’s Traffic Department without his direct involvement.

In citing the example, Jagdeo said the car park was at a critical junction, adding that he should not have been the one to raise the concern.
