In observance of Mashramani 2007 the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport will kick off a one-day knockout seven-a-side football tournament today at the Carifesta Sports Complex Ground from 10am.
The tournament is open to clubs and street teams within the Cummings Lodge/Alberttown area.
Trophies for the top four teams are up for grabs.
The most valuable player (MVP), most outstanding goal-keeper and highest goal-scorer will each receive a trophy.
The programme has been organized by Youth Officer Andrea Hall.
Teams are required to be present at the venue for registration which starts at 9:30am.
