The New Building Society (NBS) is funding a project for the repair and installation of street lights on both carriageways of Avenue of the Republic.
According to a press release project will be undertaken under the auspices of the Downtown Enhancement Initiative. It will cover the roadway from Church to Broad streets. The NBS said the project costs $1.3 million and a cheque was presented to Cummings Electrical Company on Tuesday last.
