Dear Editor,
Government must provide adequate protection for foreign workers on development projects. To hear of the robbery of Chinese personnel in Berbice and their fears about living in Guyana is sad.
Government must institute strong laws against crimes on such personnel, of the stealing or vandalism of any development or public project peoperty. These crimes discourage and delay investments. A special law was passed to discourage carjacking of tourists in Florida to protect tourism. A stolen part may delay a project for months
