A Diamond woman who was reportedly assaulted with a broken bottle by another woman was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital nursing injuries to her face yesterday.
Pinky Sampson of the Diamond Junior Staff Squatting Area was taken to the hospital by police around 2.20 am.
Sampson was at the bus park at Stabroek when her female accomplice accosted her armed with the broken bottle.
Police are investigating.
