‘We don’t have Tenisha’ – Joint Services

The Joint Services last night declared that they did not have in their possession Tenisha Morgan, the 18-year-old Buxtonian who went missing two Fridays ago.

In a statement, the joint services said it wished to categorically state that none of its members: the Guyana Defence Force, the Guyana Police Force, the Guyana Prison Service and the Guyana Fire Service had Morgan of Friendship, Buxton, ECD, in its possession and persons who wish to suggest such are being extremely mischievous. Further, the Guyana Police Force is continuing investigations into the missing person report made with the view to locating Morgan, the statement said. Morgan’s disappearance had sparked concerns since it was alleged that wanted man Rondell ‘Fineman’ Rawlins had contacted the police on Friday warning that he would create mayhem if she was not returned safely. The heavily pregnant teenager had left her home for Georgetown to join relatives in Kitty. She reportedly collapsed at the Berbice bus park in pain and was whisked away in a taxi public-spirited persons had solicited for her.
