Charged with Dec 19 armed robbery

Terrence John was yesterday remanded to prison for allegedly committing robbery under arms. He was not required to plead to the indictable charge.

It is alleged that on December 19, 2007 John robbed Harrypaul Boodoo of two gold chains and cash, a total value of $370,000.

The accused told the magistrate that the police “forcing people to point me out” and this is a “cowboy court, cause the man ain’t here to say is me.”

Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton told him that her court has rules he needs to comply with and he would get his chance to speak at his trial.

The prosecution opposed bail since according to them he was identified by the virtual complainant in a line-up.
