Inter-churches U-15 cricket at Cultural Centre tarmac today

The Royal Ranger Department/Boys Club of the House of Prayer, Tucville Assemblies of God church has planned a festive day of cricket for under-15 players.

The club’s rationale behind this activity is to encourage social interaction and to promote mental, physical and spiritual interaction and growth among neighbouring communities.

The event will take the form of a 10-overs-a-side knockout competition featuring seven teams and will take place at the National Culture Centre tarmac.

The seven church teams participating are: Central Assemblies of God

First Assembly of God, Newtown Assembly of God, Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God, Eccles Assembly of God, 210 Gospel Assembly of God and House of Prayer – Tucville Assembly of God.

Action will begin at 9am today and successful teams will advance to the semifinal and final round of the competition which is scheduled to take place at the same venue on March 1.
