Dear Editor,
To the bereaved family members, friends, fellow villagers, and Guyanese at large, the Guyanese Pioneer Fund-raising group of Scarborough, Ontario send their deepest and heartfelt condolences.
All Guyanese in Canada read with appalling disbelief of the heinous massacre committed in the tiny village of Lusignan.
What are we to believe our beloved country is coming to when a few of its citizens can carry out such vicious and malicious attacks on their fellow men and even children.
We want you to know our hearts and prayers are with you, and with God’s help your tears and sorrows will subside.
To the perpetrators, we pray that your hearts would be scarred with the carnage you have created, knowing it’s only a matter of time before such cowardly acts must be accounted for.
