It is very heartening to read that the national stakeholders meeting in which the People’s National Congress/ Reform participated with President Bharrat Jagdeo has come to some consensus on the national security plan to fight the escalating crime.
Their cooperation and suggestions are most welcome at this time.
It shows that politicians can indeed do what’s best for their country.
Such cooperation is necessary to move this country forward.
The Joint Services also need the support of the public and the media to carry out their functions effectively.
This stakeholders’ consensus is a major step forward for national security…
