Dear Editor,
Well we now have a 28-year-old helicopter with a medical stretcher gate on pilot side to accommodate a double stretcher set-up for air ambulance operations.
What about Forward-looking Infra-red (FLIR) or Infra-red equipment (IR) and a Night Sun for night operations? This equipment should have been installed in the US (or Costa Rica.), prior to this aircraft coming here to Guyana. Without IR equipment to find criminals easily at night, we are wasting our time.
On another note, your new website is much better – thank you. Why was the comment system deactivated temporarily? It’s the best thing you’ve done for the site so far – brilliant being able to comment on articles almost instantaneously.
