Digicom on Tuesday donated one ACR Laptop computer to the Carifesta Secretariat to support its operations to host Carifesta X.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport Dr Frank Anthony said he is very pleased that the IT dealer has come on board and contributions from the corporate sector are welcome.
According to a Government Information Agency press release Digicom Co-proprietor Marcia Nadir-Sharma said she hopes other private sector entities emulates her company’s efforts as the public needs to get involved and support the minister and the Carifesta team. “Being a part of Carifesta has a lot of potential for my business which come in the form of goodwill,” Sharma said, adding that “We have to show what Guyana has to offer”
