Exclusive Styles Boutique and Farfan and Mendes Limited, became the latest corporate entities to join forces with the Guyana Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation for this weekend’s Novices and Intermediate championships in Berbice.

Troy Allen, store supervisor of Exclusive Styles’ Camp Street branch, handed over a gift voucher for $10,000 to assistant treasurer of the GABBFF Keemo Fyffe.
The voucher is redeemable at any Exclusive Styles Store.

In a brief remark Allen indicated to the media that Fyffe was a regular  customer at the store so when they were approached for sponsorship, they had no hesitation.
“Keemo shops here regularly and when he took time out from one of his shopping sprees to enquire about sponsorship, we readily agreed even though this is not the first time we will be partnering with the GABBFF.
“We at Exclusive Styles, would like to wish the GABBFF all the best in the running off of this competition and to the athletes who will be competing, best of luck.”

Fyffe thanked the sponsors for their timely contribution stating that it could not have come at a better time for the GABBFF.

“This gesture by Exclusive Styles is timely indeed taking into consideration that the GABBFF is striving to revamp the sport of bodybuilding and body fitness here in Guyana.”
Meanwhile, at the offices of Farfan and Mendes Limited, Fyffe received a cheque for an undisclosed sum which will go towards  the purchase of trophies for a  category to be decided upon by the GABBFF.

In brief remarks, Store Manager, Leyland Mingo, highlighted Farfan and Mendes’ delight at giving back to sports here in Guyana.

“It is always a pleasurable moment for us when we have to give back to sports and the development of sports here in Guyana. At the moment, we are associated with one of the top clubs in Guyana namely the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club and to be associated with the GABBFF in their running off of their Novices and Intermediate competition is a tremendous feeling for us.”

Fyffe also thanked Farfan and Mendes for their contribution.
