Singh and Currius bailed on break and enter

Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle granted $25,000 bail each to two men accused of breaking and entering and stealing from a hardware store.

Kumar Singh, 33, of 58 Third Street, Alexander Village and Anthony Currius, 50, of 288 East Ruimveldt pleaded not guilty to the charges when they appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

According to the facts of the case between May 18 and 19 the two men allegedly broke into a store room and stole plastic barrels worth $20,000. Both men denied any knowledge of the incident.

They were ordered to appear at Court Four on July 21.
