Why no fixed schedule for cutting off water on the East Coast?

Dear Editor,
To bring you up to date about what has happened since my letter (‘Why is water cut off so early on the East Coast?’ SN 30.6.08), on Monday June 30 the water supply was cut between 11:00hrs and 14:00hrs.  And then termination again at 19:50hrs.

On Tuesday July 1, the supply was again cut between 11:00hrs and 14:00hrs.  This time termination occurred at 19:35hrs.

On July 2, the supply was cut yet again between 11:00hrs and 14:00hrs.  Ter-mination came at 19:20hrs.

It seems like the game has started again.  Please GWI, I would appreciate if you could tell us, somehow, what exactly the schedule is supposed to be, and stick to that, because at this rate by the end of the month, we’ll stop getting water after 11:00hrs every day.

I wonder though, if this may be the ultimate objective and GWI is trying to break it gently to us. That last bit was in jest, GWI.  I can work with a schedule; I don’t care what it is, but at least let it be stable please.
Yours faithfully,
N. Jodhan
