The Railway Embankment Road between Conversation Tree and the University of Guyana Road will be closed to vehicular traffic from today to Wednesday to facilitate the meetings to be held at the International Conference Centre, according to a release from the police.
The release said that the gatherings are the 7th Meeting of the Security Policy Advisory Committee and the 7th Meeting of the Council of Ministers responsible for National Security and Law Enforcement.
The police said that discretion will be afforded to those persons residing or working in the area and the force regrets any inconvenience caused by the closure.
