The Alliance For Change in its message to mark Eid-ul-Adha says that religion should be a unifying and empowering force of change in Guyana.
It contended that the act of obedience performed by the Prophet Ibrahim is not only significant to the followers of Islam but also to Jews and Christians.
“May the observance of this festival unite us as one Guyanese family, willing and prepared to make sacrifice for change; assured that through our faith and trust in the Almighty we can make Guyana a paradise for our children and future generations”.
