Dear Editor,
Congratulations are in order for the Guyana Amazon Warriors for winning the finals! I had expected to see a much better fight from the Trinidad and Tobago Knightriders but it appeared that the bowling got the better of them. It was good cricket played much louder than before. The crowds, even though partisan were great. The hunger and passion for victory was very much in evidence in all the games. This is a victory for Guyana but it is also a demonstration of the unifying power of sports in terms of patriotism and love for country.
