Suspects in Texaco robbery held

Three of four men who are suspected to have carried out an armed robbery at the Texaco Service Station at Providence, East Bank Demerara on Monday night were arrested yesterday.
Reports are that the four men who were armed with cutlasses and knives stormed the service station, robbing a female supervisor and two other employees of $160,000, a police release said last night.
Police picked up three men acting on information received. Charges are expected to be laid shortly.
