Thirty Students pass grading exam at recently opened Dojo in Essequibo

Thirty students have passed their karate grading examination which was overseen by Vice Chairman of the ISKF Technical Committee Master Frank Woon-A-Tai at the Anna Regina Multilateral School (ARMS) Dojos last Saturday.

The 8th Dan black belt Master was assisted by fifth Dan Sensei Amir Khouri who is also chief instructor at A.R.M.S and Y.M.C.A Dojo.

The students all graduated from white belt to yellow belt with a training session held after to help improve stances, power and kata.

Frank Woon-A-Tai also conducted a grading examination on Sunday at the Y.M.C.A, Thomas Lands. There, he awarded a first degree black belt to Lloyd Gibson and second degree black belt to Shamash Persaud.
