A prison inmate was on Saturday admitted a patient to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) after he was stabbed in the chest during a fight wit another prisoner.
He is currently in the male open ward of the GPH under police guard. He was not allowed to speak to the media about what happened. According to a press release sent by the Hospital’s Public Relations Department, the unnamed 37-year-old man was rushed to the Accident and Emergency Unit after being stabbed.
