Creary, Brathwaite score half centuries

-Carriah takes four wicket haul
Andre Creary and Kraigg Brathwaite yesterday scored half centuries in the second President’s Cup practice match for the West Indies Under-19 team at the Police Sports Club ground, Eve Leary.

Brathwaite scored 56 for Yannick Ottley’s side which scored 184-5 replying to Dalton Polius X1 score of 183 all out off 40 overs with Creary scoring an unbeaten 50 with three fours and two sixes.

In Ottley’s XI innings Braithwaite and fellow opener John Campbell who made 54 put on a first wicket partnership of 121 before they were both asked to retire.

Trevon Griffith scored 49 with five fours and a six for Poluis XI.
Yannick Carriah took 4-30 while Jermaine Blackwood and left-arm spinner Patrick Harty supported with 3-27 and 2-32 respectively.
