Rastafari Council hosts Haiti benefit concert

The Guyana Rastafari Council and Rastafarian Community of Guyana will host a benefit concert for Haiti on Saturday and the proceeds are expected to be channelled through the national relief effort.

The Rastafarian Redemption Concert for Haiti will feature a line-up of local performers, including First Born, Fyah Clan and Black Jungle. The concert is planned for Saturday at the National Gymnasium from 6 pm according to a press release from the Guyana Rastafari Council.

The council said too that the show will feature drama, poetry and musical performances by at least 20 Rastafarian artistes backed by Cinderella Promotions Dynamos Band.
