Dear Editor,
It’s great to see Timeka Marshall still going strong with her singing career after captivating us when winning the GT&T singing contest a few years back. No doubt Timeka has become Guyana’s most celebrated female artiste since then and it was a great pleasure seeing her perform at the Jamzone mega concert last Saturday night. Hits and Jams hit all the right buttons in staging one of the most successful shows in Guyana in many years, and in making Timeka the opening act for American star Ne-Yo, they were spot on. We loved Timeka’s racy outfit and hopefully she will follow in the footsteps of fellow Caribbean sensation, Barbadian Rihanna and land a contract with a major record company.
