Will Clico insurance policyholders who stopped payments at the time of the collapse get their money back?

Dear Editor,

Several Clico policyholders after hearing of Clico going bankrupt and the financial scandals, in fear, especially public servants, stopped the monthly insurance deductions from their salaries which went straight to Clico. I would like to know whether or not these policyholders would be given the monies that remained in the Clico accounts at the time of the last deductions from their salaries, or if all of that money is lost.

I am hoping that they would still receive the money which they saved with the insurance company during that period of time, even though they stopped contributing further to the insurance plan for fear of what is taking place today. If they would not get back their monies, then where will it go? If they will not be getting back a cent from Clico or the government, then that is nothing less than robbing these policyholders of their monies.
Yours faithfully,
