Three women were arrested at First Avenue, Bartica on Tuesday with clothing, DVD players and an electrical iron which they reportedly shoplifted.
Police said yesterday that the women will be charged shortly. According to a police press release, around 1720 hours acting on information received, ranks arrested the three Georgetown residents.
The women had in their possession items which are suspected to have been “shoplifted” from business places in Bartica.
Five reports of such incidents have been made to the police.
