Early Vincie poll
The Vincentian parliament was dissolved yesterday ahead of general elections in less than a month’s time on 13 December.
The national poll was announced on Sunday night by Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves at a political rally of his governing Unity Labour Party.
Election candidates are to be officially nominated on 26 November.
“I want to whip them so bad, so fast, so quick,” Prime Minister Gonsalves said in reference to his main rival the New Democratic Party, while announcing the election date.
