Cops seeking Agricola resident over 1998 murder

Police are seeking an Agricola resident for questioning into the 1998 murder of Clyde Lewis called ‘Six Head’ who was riddled with bullets during an argument in a Tiger Bay house.

According to a wanted bulletin, the suspect, Christopher Grudge called “Grudgee” or “Mark” is medium-built.

Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest is asked to contact the police immediately.

A resident of the area had told this newspaper that on June 12, 1998, an argument had broken out in the two-storey house located at Holmes and Queens streets. During the course of the argument, the resident had said that shots rang out and shortly after two men were seen riding away on a motorcycle.

Lewis who sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head, chest, hands and other parts of the body was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Hospital.

Acting on information police later arrested two men and two women for questioning.
