Motorcyclist hit by car escapes serious injury

A motorcyclist was last evening injured after he collided with a car, near the junction of Camp and Robb streets.

Motorist Carl Jacobs, who was bruised, said that he was hurting whenever he attempted to move, after the accident. The driver of the car, PMM 5146, said he was proceeding east on Robb Street when Jacobs came out of nowhere. The driver said that by the time he hit the brakes, he could not avoid hitting Jacobs.

Jacobs, meanwhile, contended that he did not see the car as he was making his way north along Camp Street.

Both men were mum when asked why neither heeded at the corner. The traffic light at that junction has not been working for nearly two months.
