East Demerara calls up 26-man Under-17 Squad

These players are drawn from the Golden Grove, Plaisance, Victoria Kings, Bakewell Buxton United, Melanie and Beterverwagting/Triumph (BVTU) Football Clubs.

BVTU and Plaisance had a total of six players each – Jamal Murray, Malcolm Wilson, Mondaie Branford, Nichel Fraser, Deshane Garnett, Jamal Price, Kelvin Bowen, Zikie Bumbury, Simon Emanuel, Keyon Ismond, Keon Kyte and Nicholus Nurse.

Marlon Lashley, Rondell Assanha, Akeem Holder, Lloyd Daniels, Emmt Leacah, Osimon Cole, Quincy Newton, , Kestre Hatton, Kelvin Skeete, Jermaine Kendal, Kevin Niles, Daniel Gibson and Rayon Joseph make up the other half of the squad.

Hurbert McPherson and Dexter Grant were named as the coach and manager of the team respectively and training commences on Saturday at the Victoria Ground at 4pm.

Essequibo and Berbice go head to head at 13:00hrs, then East Bank faces West Demerara in the following match that kicks off at 15:30hrs while East Demerara is scheduled to be in action on April 4 at Enmore Ground.
